Partnerships
PIRC has a unique relationship with each of our school and district partners. We work with each school or district to help determine what program or action(s) will most benefit the students and create the strongest family-community-school partnership. Our hope is that we can assist in making systemic and sustainable family, community, and school action plans that will increase student achievement in a variety of ways. Please browse our Programs & Services for more details.
PIRC also partners with the Vermont Department of Education and several other community and state organizations to ensure that our work is both linked to and coordinated with other education programs and projects around the state. Some of our closest collaborations involve the Parent Child Center Network, VPA, VSAC, Gear Up Program, the VT NEA, the VT School Boards Association, and the Jeffords Center for Policy Research at UVM.
