Your Voice Can Be a Voice for Change!
Check this site for updates on opportunities to make a difference.
Vermont Family Network frequently has opportunities for families to speak up for systems changes. You might consider testifying before a Vermont Senate or House committee; attending a focus group to discuss an issue or review a proposed policy initiative; or contacting your state or national representatives. Family voices and stories can make a huge difference.
Revision of the Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations
(Added 12/16/2011)
The Child Development Division (CDD) is revising the child care licensing regulations. We would like parents, providers and community members to help us create regulations that are clear, child centered and family friendly.
There are several opportunities for you to participate in the process, including community forums and work groups. Community forums are open to many participants, while the work groups will be a defined group that will work over ten months. If you would like to be part of or facilitate a work group please fill out our survey or facilitator application at the weblink below by January 11, 2011. Community forums begin in January 2011 and will continue throughout the year. Click here for more information, or call: 1-802-769-6499
