Applied Behavioral Analysis for Students on the Autism Spectrum
Autism Case Training (ACT) The “Autism Case Training (ACT) – A Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Curriculum” is a new curriculum that is designed to educate future pediatricians on fundamental components of identifying, diagnosing, and managing autism spectrum disorders. This curriculum was developed in partnership with between CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” team and HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Training Program.
Autism Case Training (ACT) curriculum content
Autism Internet Modules Developed by the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) in partnership with the Autism Society of America (ASA), the Nebraska Autism Spectrum Disorders Network, the National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Toronto’s Geneva Centre for Autism, this series of online learning modules includes information on assessment and identification of ASDs, recognizing and understanding behaviors and characteristics, transition to adulthood, employment, and numerous evidence-based practices and interventions. Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at UCDavis Interactive Training Modules on Autism ADEPT (Autism Distance Education Parent Training) Interactive Learning Strategies for Teaching Functional Skills An original MIND Institute/CEDD 10-lesson interactive, self-paced, online learning module providing parents with tools and training to more effectively teach their child with autism and other related neurodevelopmental disorders functional skills using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Early Identification of Autism Spectrum Disorders National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) recently posted a new on-line module on the early identification of ASD. The module comes with videos (including home movies of babies who later develop ASD), case studies and other resources.
